Yoga Therapy with Karin Worthy

Karin is certified by British Wheel of Yoga (BWY), the Society of Yoga Practitioners (TSYP)
Karin Worthyand is registered with the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) as a yoga therapist. She is now doing a 4-year advanced yoga therapy course that is taught by Dr N Chandrasenkaran (Dr NC), who was Head of Yoga Therapy at the Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram (KYM) for over 20 years and Colin Dunsmuir, who trained directly with TKV Desikachar in India and has run numerous teacher training programmes in the UK as well as being a member of The British Council of Yoga Therapy.

Yoga therapy uses techniques of yoga to create, stimulate, and maintain an optimum state of physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health. It can help those suffering from pain or stress or when dealing with physical or mental trauma and is particularly valuable in helping those suffering with back or shoulder pain. It can also help in the recovery of strength and confidence after major surgery, or in dealing with a serious illness. Sufferers from asthma or arthritis can also benefit from yoga therapy. Sport Rehabilitation with Agnieszka Waszkielis Aga Sport Rehabilitation

After graduating from St. Mary’s University in sport rehabilitation in 2007 Aga Waszkielis has worked in private clinics across London, a GP surgery, at the Ministry of Defence at Headley Court (a rehabilitation centre for injured members of the British Armed Forces), as well as on major sports events such as the London Marathon and Ladies European Golf Tour.
She specialises in treating musculoskeletal injuries focusing on the root cause of the pain not just the symptoms, enabling her clients to reach their maximum potential and teaching them how to prevent further injury.
She later trained with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI) to teach pilates for ante-natal, post-natal and general pilates classes.
